Hi Everyone
It's been a busy ol' summer for us dogs so far, lot's of adventures, outings and swims, so many in fact that I'm going to have to write more than one blog to fit it all in! Ater all I don't want to bore you too much.
Gettin' them last rays of sunshine, it's not just you humans that feel the benefit of a bit of sunshine, it can even make me more cheerful! |
I'm definitely losing my touch when it comes to predicting the outcome of major sporting events, my latest failing wasThe Champions League Final, I predicted Spurs to win it. If it's any consolation so did Luther |

Swim time in Old Felixstowe |
"Sorry mate I can't read!" |
Can you see that boat in the background? It's the Stena one that we're getting to Holland at the end of August, if Brexit is sorted (don't get me started) |
And so finally June came around and it was time for me and Luth to go to the 'Camp America' (Max & Steph's) for three weeks while mum & dad went to California.
How was it? Well after all of their time and expense securing the garden and making it escape proof Luther managed to get out on day one! He's more agile than me and ended up in the adjacent electricity sub station, got back into the garden further up but couldn't get back in to the run. We barked a lot in protest which pissed the neighbours off, so in the end we ended up being dropped off at home while they were at work during the week which suited us! Do I feel guilty? No comment.

"We'll be good boys - honest we will" |
"See Ya" |
To be honest we had a really good time, I know we're a couple of knobs for causing them grief |
But look, butter wouldn't melt |
Christ, we wouldn't be able to do that at home |
We got walked every day and had plenty of fun with the ball thrower |
Weekend walk at Ufford |
Stop ridiculing me Max |
So finally mum & dad got back, I think Max & Steph were relieved to get rid of us! I know that we can be hard work at times.
Have you ever heard of something called Jet Lag? I think it's an illness you get from flying a long way away and it affects your sleep patterns, I'll never catch it.
They both caught it and kept getting up in the middle of the night. We even ended up driving to Felixstowe for a swim at 7am one morning FFS! |
I know I say it a lot but they do have some f**kin' big boats down at the dock |
Do you know what? we didn't even get a present - it's not like we'd been bad boys. By the way I thought it said 'Doggers' on that bag lol |
A new 'Doggers' barbeque cover |
I think I'll leave it there for now and report back soon.
Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog
