Rudeboy's Back

Hi I'm back!

It's been eight months since my last blog, has anybody missed me? Probably not.

Basically I'm still doing the same old thing and me and Luth have also been behaving ourselves. Don't get me wrong, we still get to go for a walk everyday but we don't seem to go on as many new adventures as we did during the pandemic.

Anyway don't listen to me, it's not that bad - I'm just a grumpy ol' bastard!

Here's what has been happening.

A January walk to Martlesham Creek

Oh I nearly forgot, in January we went to stay at Enzo's for a couple of weeks while mum & dad were in Argentina and Brazil

We had a couple of decent walks and were allowed to make a helluva mess, we just blamed Enzo

When mum & dad got back they took us down to Felixstowe for a swim

Studious Luther

The OOCL United Kingdom leaving the United Kingdom

Enzo's staying with us tonight

We love a trip to Shingle Street - haven't been for a while

A new Photo Post has been installed. So you put your phone into the frame, take a photo and upload it to a website that studies coastal erosion. I'll get dad to add one on my blog next time we visit - if I remember

Murky ol' day in my woods

Roooooadtrippin'

We were in Bristol for a couple of days to see Sam and because Ipswich were playin' Bristol Rovers

Cor we love a train ride

Luth with the Isambard Kingdom Brunel Statue. A very clever bloke (Brunel, not Luther!) He designed the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the railway line from Bristol to London, Paddington Station, steam ships and loads more

A train and...

...bus ride to Clevedon

Cor that's a rum ol' beach

Clevedon Pier

That was a good little trip, personally I would have liked to stay longer

He loves a stick!

Swimming at Playford

A night by the fire

My grumpy face

Back at the viewpoint in March and there's no ships!

At last the Spring has arrived, I don't know how your winter was but it was quite mild here - we hardly had any snow

Going to The Farmhouse in Kesgrave for a post walk beer (for them). Very disappointing that they don't let dogs inside, you know my opinion - 'F**k 'em!)

Why's he want a selfie with us?

The delights of the Cotswolds, we had a few nights in Cheltenham at Easter, mainly so dad could go to football (again)

Another meet up with Sam as well

Luther on The Cotswold Way

We did a circular walk from Stanton to Snowshill

Which was very hilly and very muddy

Lunchtime at the Snowshill Arms

See what I mean! Mum slipped over here lol

Back in sunny Suffolk

But not for long! We had another roadtrip, this time to Lancashire

The old printers gatehouse in Barrow, our home for a week - yippee

Where's our grub?

Note the chair on the stairs - as if we'd go up there!

Looking out over Clitheroe

Clitheroe Castle

Dad did the Parkrun

A day trip to Fleetwood - dad went to football and then we all went to the beach. It was the last game of the season and Ipswich could have won the league, but Plymouth won and we drew but still got promoted

Back in the Ribble Valley

We set off on a circular walk from Whalley which was really good

Until we came across this lot blocking the footpath - you can imagine mum's reaction lol

So we found a way round

Look more of them on the right ffs!

We had another diversion or two to avoid the cows

But made it back to Whalley

And the appropriately named Dog Inn

Look there's a witch (no not mum!) we came across this statue along the Pendle Way

Me being me

Cor, nice view

Another path to avoid

Ogden Reservoir

Final walk of the holiday in Spring Wood

Nice view

Bluebell Boys

More Witches!

We had a really good week away in Lancashire, hopefully we'll get taken away on holiday again soon. I've got a few more photos to show you so we'll have a catch up really soon - I promise!
But for now I'm sure you've seen enough?

Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
