Big Ten

Hello everyone

And so the end of another year beckons, I hope you had a good Christmas and ate lots of grub.

I'll tell you about my Christmas later, but for now we need to talk about my age!

I had my birthday back in October (the 24th remember?) and I turned TEN human years old, that's the equivalent of? Well nobody seems to know for sure!

Pedigree have got me down as 75 FFS

I much prefer this one - either way I qualify for a pension!

Cor I got an Ipswich Town home shirt design doggie bandana, although my first allegiance as the senior and OG mascot is with Borussia Martlesham, I think that it's acceptable to follow a professional team as well

Chillin' with the boys

In my woods

As is tradition mum made me a cake, this year I got a spicy apple one

Which I obviously shared with the boys

FFS look at that jacket! He thinks he's Jesse Pinkman or Ali G

Just another Autumn day

Remembrance

We got another car, it's a bit tight in the back for me an' Luth though

Magic mushrooms lol

We got some different food to try - smells good. We'll eat any ol' shit to be honest with you!

Cor we got to go on another holiday in November

Down to Brixham in Devon

It coincided with Luth's 7th birthday - jammy bastard

He got an ITFC bandana same as me

What a team

Mum made him a ginger cake at home

And took it down to Devon - good ol' Shar!

We weren't allowed to eat it on the table it was put there for a photo and to tease us more

Posers

As is normal our holiday consisted of walking and swimming luckily mum was almost fully fit and cured of her broken foot

Do you ever get that Monday morning feeling?

It pissed it down with rain

But we still went out. To be honest it was the only bad day of weather we had

Tuesday was a better day

Swimming to towards Brixham

This was our longest walk from Brixham to Paignton

It was about six miles there so we got the bus back

We found a pub with a log burner

The Guns of Brixham!

Another nice walk

Up to Berry Head lighthouse

That's what you call a gun dog!

We made it to the lighthouse at Brixham a half mile walk along the jetty
It was a real fun week in Devon and an unexpected holiday for us boys, I think we've done alright this year considering you lot are now allowed to go abroad again - let's see how 2023 pans out for us dogs

Back home for the run up to Christmas

Photoshoot for Christmas

Me getting some respite in the shed

Luther carried that stick on all of todays walk, he might be seven but he’s still a puppy at heart

We met up with a couple of the ladies from dad's running group for a walk around Fynn Valley - more importantly we got to meet Percy who's only 7 months old

We had a great time and even got to splash about

There he is

It's frosty in my woods today

The long shadows of winter

Another Christmas photoshoot

In-between chewing sticks

Here's our Borussia Christmas photo

And the family one

Sam came home for Christmas and the first thing he did was to take us swimming at Felixstowe

On Christmas Day morning we went for a nice walk in Rendlesham Forest

While dad did the Parkrun

Is that a hat or has he grown his hair lol?

Max & Steph got a drawing of done of us as a Christmas present for mum & dad

Christmas Day on the naughty step - not really! We all went to  Enzo's for the day and got a great dinner as well
We got Enz got an ITFC bandana for Christmas so we've all got one each now

A New Year's Eve walk & swim at Shingle Street

A great way to end the year

There were lot's of Kite Surfers about but they didn't get in our way

Well that's me done for the year, it's time to dry off, have a kip and then I expect I'll have to be awake to see in the New Year and put up with everyones fireworks going off! It just leaves me to wish you all a happy and healthy 2023, I look forward to blogging you all in the new year.

Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
