Happy Birthdays

Hi everyone

I'm promised you another blog soon and here it is. Just a heads up - there's a few birthdays involved including mine!

A quick update on the pandemic. By the beginning of September people were getting more of their freedoms back as the vaccinations were being rolled out, although me an' Luth didn't notice too many changes to our routines, in fact because the weather was so good we got to go on some great walks. Plus mum wants to get her 100 miles per month in.

Back to normality after all of the excitement of Max's birthday

Enzo's nearly as big as Luther already and he's only six months old, he's gonna be a big un'

Please sir

We've been hanging out a lot lately

Look the heather almost matches our tongues

Mum looking radiant on her birthday

The weather was lovely so we went for a walk and a swim from Thorpeness to Sizewell and back

Here's a photo of coastal erosion

But we don't care

Birthday treats, ice cream at Thorpeness

And beer at The Cherry Tree in Woodbridge - she deserves it

The weather in September was really hot

A walk over at Sutton Heath

Snake alert!

Cor it's f**kin' boiling in this black coat!

Cor we needed that

An early morning trip to Shingle Street with Enzo

Still trying to get him to swim

Come on mate

He did manage to go in briefly

Then we had a nice walk along the beach and around the marshes

DIY dogs

Multitasking, a walk and getting supplies

They keep on getting bigger - the Ever Ace is now the biggest container ship in the world and it came into Felixstowe in September so we went round to Shotley to see it

Martlesham Creek with Barney & Dexter

A trip down to Old Felixstowe

For a swim

A walk along the seafront

And back along the marshes

Through the golf course

Ramsholt today and another circular walk but not before we have a swim

A fine harvest

Woodhall Manor

Thirsty work today!

Friday evening beers for the adults

Aldeburgh - celebrating dad's birthday

Luther's gift, rolling in cow's shit lol

Luckily there was a stream nearby

F**k it, it's only two days before October, so don't look so worried Luth,

Also the sea will wash any remnants of cow shit away as well

Cheers dad happy birthday

We found a wigwam near Martlesham, a product of Lockdown boredom no doubt

This'll piss 'em off

Lol

Chillin' out in the kennel

Dad finally managed to run the Manchester Marathon in October - 18 months after the original date. It was cancelled at the start of the Lockdown in 2020. Poor ol' boy had to keep doing them long runs for longer than planned

I'm a similar age to him now but obviously I'm a lot fitter. Here we are wearing his two medals, one for the virtual 2020 marathon and one for this years

Shingle Street in the autumn

I couldn't resist! Needless to say I really stunk after going in there!

Refreshed after a swim in the sea

A Saturday morning walk with Enz

Guess who's birthday it is?

Yep mine - 9 human years old

We went down to Shingle Street to celebrate with Enz

Having a timeout

Enzo's really got the hang of swimming now, he's turned into a right ol' water-boy

Look what they made me wear!

Mum made me a lovely cake though

Looks good

Sharings caring

Should we have abandoned Enzo?

See what I mean about him loving the water

That's it for now, next time I'll show you my holiday photos from Cornwall.
Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
