Springtime In Suffolk

Hi everyone

Well the post holiday blues didn't last too long, warmer weather and longer days certainly helped perk me up. Within a week of being home we drove up the coast to Aldeburgh and did a circular walk to Thorpeness along a disused railway line and back along the beach.

Oh I thought it said 'Pissing gate'

We had to walk alongside a golf course some of the way, it's a pity we were on leads as it would have been fun to nick someones ball!

There's the house in the clouds, it's a converted water tower which you can rent out

Swim time

Back in Aldeburgh

It's Fish & Chip time

At the beach

Hooray they saved us some

Didn't take long to demolish them!

Luther the poser

Look what we saw on a walk in my wood at the end of March, a wedding at Milsoms and the guests were outside. Let's hope it's like that in October when Max & Steph get married there

Me and Luther on a photo shoot, our silhouettes are being used on the new Borussia Martlesham stickers
And here they are, apparently it's trendy for football fans to take stickers on their travels and stick them in various places. There's lots of dedicated sites on instagram to post photos of them. We'll see how far and wide these go in the next few months

That's our overnight bag - grub and a lead is all we need. We had a sleepover recently at M&S's (Goring Road not the shop!) to test the latest garden escape proofing. How did it go?

Haha we got out we dug the block paving bricks out and then burrowed under the gate

We later had to show dad how we did it

Lol!
What's up?

Perhaps it wasn't a smart thing to do as he cemented our escape route, still at least we've got our very own 'Hollywood Walk of Fame' complete with paw prints!
They were really confident we couldn't get out anymore, Luther had other ideas. Here he is waiting at the back door to greet Max on his return home

He had managed to leap over the fence FFS! and it's over four feet tall, I'm sorry to say my days of being that athletic are now behind me

Oh well it's back to the drawing board for dad!

Another nice walk we did recently was around Alton Water which is just outside Ipswich. It's a man made reservoir which was opened in 1987 to help with water shortages in the area

You can't beat an early morning swim

Break time

Seven miles later and we're knackered

Roadtrip

Well not really we just went to M&S's for a barbeque at Easter

They love us coming round really and we're allowed on the old settee in their conservatory

We had an Easter Egg hunt at our house on Easter Monday Steph won - She's like a big kid!

What the f**k is Luther doing in the wood store?

Another circular walk this time starting in my wood and doing a loop near Bealings and Martlesham

We love a Bluebell photo

The old Control Tower at Martlesham Heath

Nearly home

The latest escape proofing

Let's see how this goes!
Watch this space, see you next time.
Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
