The Heat Is On

I told you I'd have another blog for you soon didn't I? Well here it is...

There's been some good weather down in here Suffolk lately and we've been taking advantage of it.
I'm not sure if I told you or not but mum has given up her job and dad is doing a bit less which is great news for me an' Luth, more attention and more fuss (if we get our way that is!)
Hey, that's not the good news I was telling you about last time though, we've been away on holiday but before I show you my holiday snaps I'll get you up to speed with my summer so far.

Easy like Sunday Morning at Nacton Shores in late May
We only come here if the tide is up otherwise it's too muddy - not for us, we love it but mum and dad don't like muddy dogs

A bit of coastal erosion going on there

Right, time for breakfast

At last all of the logging is done 👍

A trip to the vets - not the best way to start a week

I had to have a cracked tooth removed, they had to put me to sleep to get it out, that's after they shaved me!

Poor ol' me feeling a bit groggy post op. Do you know what really pissed me off about the whole process? The tooth fairy didn't visit me!🧚‍♀️

The next phase of making the garden more dog friendly was getting rid of 'Beirut'
But not before I had one last dig

Volcano vibes 'Rudie does Vesuvius'

We had a nice 7 mile walk from Otley to Helmingham Hall

It didn't take long to find a ditch

We didn't see may deer in the grounds but we came across the Obelisk

It was a bit of a mission getting in and out of the grounds

How to piss mum and dad off lol

We don't give a shit really!

Back at the White Hart in time for lunch (we didn't get any)

We were so smelly from the ditches on the way home so we diverted to Ufford for a swim in some cleaner water - I love it when a plan comes together 👍

Just to finish the day off we decided to chill-out in the garden

Is there a problem? I think I pushed my luck a little too far!

24 hours later and we still smelt of stagnant water so off to Shingle Street we went

My kind of a Saturday evening

I don't know if you've noticed that me an' Luth have got new collars? I'm in blue now to keep me looking youthful. I did have a red one but it went in the bin after Luth shat on it, don't even ask how that happened!

It's quite funny everyone gets us mixed up now even mum and dad

A pub stop on the way home at the Shottisham Sorrel Horse

All of a sudden this lot got up and started dancing in the street! They're called Morris Dancers

Luther's first World Cup. Unfortunately our 'Toluca Blues' flag got burnt after the wind blew it over the outside light

We're ready

What does 'It's coming home' mean?

Luther's in the shit - literally!

Ha ha

Enjoying the Suffolk countryside

Bucklesham Church

Cor another swim

They have some big ol' boats down at Felixstowe

No we didn't eat it all!

I'll be back soon with the holiday report soon, bet you can't wait!

Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
