The Labratour - Part Two

I hope you're ready for more holiday photos of wet Labradors? The second part of our trip took us to Norfolk of all places and it turned out to be really good!

It was a about a four drive from Yorkshire so we needed a bathroom break on the way 🚽

We stayed in Blakeney a small village near the North Norfolk Coast. That's not the best pub in the world by the way 🍺

Our first walk along the Norfolk Coastal Path and guess what?

We found some water - much to mum and dads disgust lol 😀

That guilty look says it all! Do you remember the Bat biscuits we got from the pet shop in Whitby? Well Luther found them in the middle of the night on a chair and ate them - I'm not denying that I helped him! 🦇🍪

Dads new book got a bit chewed in the process as well - at least Ian Wright is still smiling 📖🤓
Our gaff

'Lead' us not into temptation

What's a 'Seal trip'?

I was soon to find out 🚤

We went on a boat trip to Blakeney Point to see them

Unfortunately meals weren't included with our tickets! 🍲

Cor look at 'em
I really wanted to jump overboard

Christ they can swim as well

Holkham Beach 🏖⛱

It's the biggest beach I've ever seen

And there was no f**ker on it!
Mind you it was a bit busier that morning - there was over 130 horses from The Queen's Household Cavalry there!
🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇

Sorry Tom but I didn't want to piss on 'The Green Green Grass' and burn it!

All aboard, this time it's The Coastal Hopper 🚌

It runs from Hunstanton to Sheringham and dogs are allowed to travel on it.

We went from Blakeney to Cley Next The Sea and walked back via the beach and the marshes - heaven 🚏
They'd been a bit of overnight rain ⛈
Crikey the sea was a bit rough there 🌊
So we just played in the surf - we know our limits
They use caterpillar tractors to launch the boats

That's a bit calmer
Luther eyeing up a couple of steaks! 🐮

Cley Windmill
There was some lovely pools to be found
You can see the beach at Cley in the background, it doesn't look far but it was a fair old hike skirting around the marshes

Six miles later and we made it back to Blakeney and went to The White Horse for refreshments. Don't worry I'm not drinking beer!

Luther was so tired he didn't notice he was asleep with his ear in a bowl of water!

Knackered! 💤

Our route

Just chillin'

Hooray we're back at Holkham for another swim

This time dad came in with us 🏊
He couldn't resist 😀

More midnight snacks - there was nearly a bag full of on the vine tomatoes on top of the worktop - not much left now though!
🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

Our cottage was beside the road just down from the Spar shop and we were woken up early everyday by their delivery lorry 🚚🛒🛍

It didn't bother me an' Luth though - we just went out for a walk before breakfast 🍳🥞
I'm sure there for tying boats up - not dogs

One last trip to the seaside before heading home

Weybourne Beach

Tractor Boys!

So there it is Norfolk's not so bad, especially if you're a dog! We had a great time in both Yorkshire and Norfolk and everyone was really nice to us, we were allowed in shops and pubs, we even got the odd treat. Overall we were pretty well behaved and mucked in (literally at times 😂) with everyone. I can't wait for another adventure.
I'll catch up with you all in my next blog.
Lots of love from Rudie THE Dog xx
