Time Waits For No Dog

Hi Everyone

I've been asked a lot lately 'Hey Rudie what's happened to the the blog mate?' To be honest with you I don't seem to have as much time on my paws nowadays! I think it's down to looking after Luther and trying to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Do you know what? I got a bollicking (yes they're still intact) for omitting my date with Lava from my last blog - perhaps I just wanted to keep it to myself?

Lava belongs to Steph's dad and we got to meet her while he was away on holiday. We met up in Trimley and walked down towards Felixstowe

She seemed quite nice, I quite liked her

She's not such a water rat as me an' Luth though

She likes to pose though - Princess!

'Come on Lav it's lovely in here)

Getting ready for the obligatory photo

Ah!

And that was that - I haven't seen her since!

A rare trip to the Bell and meeting up with the Borussia boys after a match. Did you know that they won the league and got promoted again? I'm the mascot and never get taken to a game!

Rarer still is a ride in the Merc! There's not a lot of room for two dogs in the front so we don't get to go out in it very often

The other Sunday we went over to Rendlesham Forest for a run, there's no water over there apparently

I wonder if we could audition?

Ha ha we found a big puddle and laid about in it which really pissed mum off!

We got an extra run around to dry off a bit

Now I'm starting to notice that Luther keeps dominating my photos, I never thought that another dog could be more centre of attention than me - I've taught him too well

Afterwards we went to The Butley Oyster, Borussia's old manager Rob and his missus Tracy now run the gaff

I get on with him well and he made sure that we had plenty to drink

That's an old 'an

We've also been out in Audrey - Sam's Micra (it's dads really but he's nicked it off him)

F**k there's not much room in the back!

We're still trying to dig him up

Felixstowe - one of my favourite places

Let's go

We did a 'Map My Walk' of our default walk, here's a few photos along the way

The entrance to my woods

It's like a theme park for dogs in here

I love my woods

Two happy boys

Back on the main road

We had to get new dog bowls as the original ones that we got for Christmas were starting to flake, these ones seem to be okay, although to be honest I'm not really that fussed what I eat out of

Another trip to The Bell

We're not here for the boxing or a barbeque, mum had to pay the Christmas Club

'Fancy a beer Rude?

'No I never touch the stuff'

Back in my wood and off the beaten track enjoying the Bluebells

I don't think that they were so good this year

Milsoms is looking good though
I love a stripy lawn

We must have taken a wrong turn

Cor it's a bit blowy in Felixstowe!

We ain't going swimming in there

That's more like it

FFS dad has rediscovered vinyl records and brought a turntable! He's been up and down the loft digging out his old LP's (his form of digging is a lot different to mine!) This ones a new one though - Ed Sheeran, apparently he lives up the road from us, near a castle on a hill!

Me an' Luth did our first Parkrun at Kesgrave recently, it's a 5 kilometre run and they have them all over the country at 9am on Saturday mornings, I've been to a couple but never run one before. To be honest it pissed me off a bit, it was more of a trot and I had to stay on my lead, I struggled to cock my leg up anywhere! Being my first run I managed to get a PB, no offense to dad, Max and Steph but I could easily beat them all, in fact I reckon I could have won the race!

I've been struggling a bit with the pollen this year, I keep getting gunky eyes

Meanwhile Luther's been at it again lol!

A much nicer day down at Felixstowe

A nice siesta after a swim - what a life

There was a bit of a storm the other week, this is one of several branches that came down in my wood

We had a general election in the UK in June and me an' Luther were asked for our predictions

To be honest I couldn't give a f**k who won as long as I get looked after who cares?

Anyway we both went for LAB - why wouldn't you vote Labrador? According to Jeremy Corbin we got the result right!
Okay that's enough for now, I hope I haven't bored you too much? I've got more to tell you so I'll try and give you an update before I go on holiday.
Did I say HOLIDAY? Yep! All I know is that we're having a 'Staycation' so there'll be no need for the passports!

Lots of love

Rudie THE Dog xx
