Nice 'N' Sleazy Does It

Hi everyone and welcome back to the life of a Labrador. I'll try not to sound too much like a miserable old git and put you off reading my blog, but honestly...

April in my woods and the leaves are starting to come out - I love the spring

A nice early morning walk at Martlesham, what a great start to the early May bank holiday weekend

I'm having great fun retrieving my tennis ball from the bracken

Happy days for Rudie

Oh no, fifteen minutes later and I've been stitched up again! They didn't tell me anything, just took me to the kennels and pissed off to Blackburn for the last game of the season, I hope they lost!
Notice that they got back for the Borussia game on Sunday That's me & Darren - Max calls him 'Big Dog Coxie' or 'The Afghan Hound' - he's a soldier and he's been to war

That's Lewis, he's young like me

Well, Ipswich lost at Blackburn, but unfortunately they made it to the play-offs which meant more misery for me. On bank holiday Monday we had to go to the football ground to get tickets for the home game versus Norwich, who apparently all sleep together

We're the pedigrees,  there's two here - Sir Alf Ramsey, who was manager of Ipswich (when we won the League) & England (when we won the World Cup) & Sir Harry Maximilian (I wonder if I'll ever get a statue?)
Look at them two doing a selfie

That's Sir Bobby Robson, he was manager of Ipswich when we won the FA Cup and the EUFA Cup, he was also the England manager. Is he telling me to fetch?

Ha ha ha - another selfie, don't they look happy!

'Piss off, I'm not that interested in your tickets, just go out and leave me on my own again - I hope Town lose'

Perhaps I was a bit harsh? We went to Christchurch Park afterwards and I had a really nice afternoon

That's a steep old hill!

It's f**kin hard work running up and down that as well...

Time to cool my tummy down

They were so pissed off with me...

The only puddle on the park and I found it!

Where's my ball?

'Like a dry tree seeking water.' A line from 'Nice 'n' Sleazy' a Stranglers song - that's me!

Still chasing that ball

Don't worry I didn't go in the duck pond!

Here I am outside the mansion

On our way to the ice cream hut

Save some for me

Good ol boy

A much needed drink

May was a busy month, we also had a general election - my first one. Although I wasn't allowed to vote I managed to pick the winner.

I had a choice of two leads to wear to go to the Polling Station, blue for the Conservatives, they own lot's of land, are rich and like dogs like me to take out hunting and shooting...

And there's Labour, they're more working class and like aggressive dogs like Rottweilers and Dobermans

Cameron's got this in the bag!
Away from football & politics I'm never happier than playing in my woods

The morning of the Play-off game at Ipswich dad gave me this before they all abandoned me for the day - he called it a 'Canary boon' (that's Norfolk for bone)
That's about it for now. I found out that Ipswich drew 1-1 with Norwich and that mum & dad had tickets for the second leg the following Saturday, how depressing, another weekend about to be ruined!
I'll blog you soon.
Love from Rudie The Dog xx
