MacArthur Park

Apparently It's now time to grow up and act like a dog, not a puppy. I'm now nineteen years old - or two of your years.

Can you believe that there is actually a 'Dogs age calculator' on the internet? I don't like the way that 19 years and adult dog are in bold. No pressure then!

One of my first tasks as an 'adult' was the Remembrance day photo, posing with a poppy. 2014 was the 100th anniversary of World War One and you still haven't learnt.

Me & Strummer got a mention on twitter

It did say 'Considered an adult' on that website. Here I am getting hosed down (I call it waterboarded) after running off in the woods and playing in the green slimy water at the bottom.

Sorry dad!

All forgiven?

Something that I have to put up with, is people coming in late at night 'half cut' and wanting to play with me. This is Kelly, a friend of Sam's, who was home from South Korea and stayed with us for a weekend. They had all been in town to a cocktail making evening (whatever that is) and then an Indian with the football team. Notice that I wasn't invited? I didn't even get a doggy bag - I might have to consider resigning as mascot unless I'm given more recognition.

Oops - caught on the seat!

Happy days - having a chew in the woods.

F**k sakes he's doing selfies with me

Yep, he's pleased with that one!

Another day, another selfie!

If there's one thing I like about the winter it's an open fire.

Dad's got a new camera and guess who's his top model?

Yep Rudie The Dog!

What a poser.

Meanwhile away from the modelling. We had a trip to Aldeburgh for fish n' chips at the start of December, they're the best that you can get...

Trust me.

A little bit of exercise to burn those calories off, although the sea was a bit rough.

Trawlers and Labradors - in another life!

Back in my wood's for another photo shoot.

What a boy!

Lovin it.

Dad, can we have a real Christmas tree this year?

Perhaps not.
I bet you can't guess what I did while they put up the Christmas tree?
Helped myself to the cake that mum was making for Max to take to work to raise money for Save The Children on 'Christmas Jumper day'. I needed 'Save The Rudie' when she caught me!!!

MacArthur Park - 'Someone left the cake out on the side'

Mind you it was nice.

Better than my birthday cake!
Poor old Max had to buy a cake from Marks & Spencers for work.

Our poppy from The Tower of London arrived just before Christmas,. Apparently I can't be trusted with it in the garden, so it's been moved.

At last some recognition - Perhaps I won't resign!

Mum & dad decided not to send Christmas cards this year but make a donation to an orphanage in Thailand instead. They used my picture in emails and Facebook ,Twitter, etc, to soften people up. Let's hope that they don't forget to send the money.
Look who came home for Christmas. Sam, back from dog eating Vietnam. I pretended to not to recognise him, well I wasn't going to make it too easy for him!
Christmas day morning in my wood's with Sam - he's not a bad old boy - but if I ever find out he's been eating dog meat...
Christmas dinner...

Don't mind if I do.
My Christmas present an Ipswich Town dog bowl - not big enough for the dinner!

Finally a trip to Shotley to see the Maersk Estelle, which was up until recently the largest container ship in the world.

So at long last You're all up to date with me. I'm sure that you can't wait for more blogs in 2015? I'll try and be a bit better with them, if not my behaviour!!

Lots of love Rudie The Dog xx
