Back To The Future

Well my birthday came and went and I'm now Twelve! I'm in denial a bit so before I tell you what it's like to be so old we need to get in the time machine and travel back to Aldeburgh a few months ago!

June 21st to be precise - the longest day (I remember talking about this date when we were at Stonehenge)

Anyway we had a swim, they all had beer and fish 'n' chips, we got the scraps so everyone went home happy

Ever wondered what it's like in the back of a car?

A Super Sunday

Another wet summer's day

The smell of the sea at Shingle Street is like perfume to us

Our happy place

Luther with his favourite toy

Fynn Valley with Maisie

I've never met such a dirty bitch before - she loves the mud!

Four black labs - another play date in Fynn Valley, this time with Jed & Percy

Getting ready for Euro 2024

Come play with me

Luther never leaves mum and dad alone when they're in the garden no matter what they're doing

The eternal triangle

I had a lovely reunion with Jimmy in the summer, I hadn't seen him since I met him and Sam in Woodbridge when they were on a pub crawl when I was a puppy. He's the one who christened me 'Rudie THE Dog'

Alphabet treats lol!

An overnight to trip Dunwich in Ramavan

Beer 'o' clock

Aldeburgh beach the next day

The 'Solidarity with Ukraine' pebbles on the beach in front of The Angel of the East

Our messages

We love the scraps

Before you know it we're back in Aldeburgh for an overnighter in Ramavan

Walking onto Orford Island

Treat me please

A circular walk to Thorpeness

And a swim of course

Making the most of what good weather we did have in the summer with a few days in of all places Norfolk

'There's a circus in the town...'

'Cor look Rude'

'Yeah boi!'

We went on a big walk along the beach from Mundesley to Cromer

Lot's of places to play in the sea defences

Christ what's that and how did it get there?

'Overstrand and sea'

9 miles later and we arrived in Cromer

Tractor boys

F**K me 50p for dogs, that's a bit off - me an' Luth have never been charged to go on a bus before!

Now they don't want us on their beaches

The windmill at Mundesley

Another no go!

At last

Luth in a pensive mood

Stopping off at Happisburgh on the way home

Back home in my wood

Cheers. We're all getting excited for the new football season and being in the Premier League, especially dad. He got these pictures of us made in the new Ipswich shirts, I'm in the home one

Luther's in the away shirt

Even Enzo has joined in

Pretty in pink! Me an' Luth in the third kit designed by Ed Sheeran

I'll leave it there for now but next time I'll bring you up to date and tell you about our last trips of the summer in Ramavan and mine and Luther's birthdays. Until then take care.

Lots of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
