Two Birthdays Another Lockdown & Lots Of Swimming

Blimey this pandemic is really lasting a longtime for you humans isn’t it. I would say I feel your pain but to be honest with you I don’t, as it’s not made any real difference to mine and Luther’s daily life.

We’re still doing plenty of swimming

As well as helping out in the garden

Happy birthday to me, here’s a classic example of how different life is under lockdown for me, last year I celebrated my 7th birthday locked up in prison (aka the kennels) while mum & dad deserted me for Seville. Twelve months on and I’m swimming at Thorpeness beach

And getting my own homemade birthday cake, an apricot sponge

Thanks mum

Lovely morning for a swim at Shingle Street

Back in Felixstowe

It’s that time of the year - I really do enjoy a swim in the cold sea followed by roasting my nuts in front of the fire!

How not to make yourself popular

Making use of the portaloo!

We decided to change the car so had one last outing in it
To Gorleston beach which is north of Lowestoft in Norfolk

The Pier Hotel another location used in the film Yesterday

It was a bit nicer when they filmed here!

I have to say Gorleston’s a rum ol’ place

Be sad to see ‘Pol’ go, we’ve had some great adventures with her

Here’s our new car another Merc, me an’ Luth are so spoilt. KNtheBSD named from the Number Plate (you fill in the blanks) - hopefully we’ll have some great road trips with him

First trip was to Aldeburgh

November sunshine

Remembrance Sunday at the Control Tower, Martlesham Heath

Happy 5th birthday to my little brother Luthie who is starting to catch me up in the grey stakes!

A birthday trip to Shingle Street

It’s such an exciting place the recent high tides have created these lovely swimming pools for us

He’s a happy bunny

Oh good mum’s made him a birthday cake he got raspberry

It was bloody lovely

Sam came home to his bubble for a couple of days during Lockdown 2 and needed some fresh air and a ‘substantial meal’ this was our recommendation

‘Lockdown Two’ on Aldeburgh beach

I see no ships but I smell chips

Told ya

Cor Advent Calendars - extra treats for us

Waiting patiently for Max & Steph to pick us up, wonder where they’ll take us?

Here we are again - we’ve been to Aldeburgh lots lately must be the lure of the chip shop!

Our queen of Instagram - head over to @rudedogandluthrador for the latest news

They couldn’t resist and nor could we

The good news is that we’re out of lockdown again which means that we can slide off to Cornwall for a week. Déjà-vu as that’s where we went after the first lockdown, pure coincidence that or has mum got more sway with Boris than we know about? I hope not for dads sake!!
I’ll let you know how our trip goes when I get back, in the meantime stay safe, follow the guidelines and enjoy your substantial meals.
Lot’s of love from
