A New Decade

WARNING THIS BLOG CONTAINS PHOTOS FROM CORNWALL!
Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? Hopefully not.
Before we get into the new decade I've got to clear up the rest of 2019.

Me an' Luth have spent most of the winter chillin' at home. I'm on the naughty step, I haven't done anything wrong - I'm just not allowed there!

It's a tight squeeze in the boot of Sam's Micra

Phew!
We've had the odd to trip down to Felixstowe

It's lovely to freshen up in the sea

Luther just won't leave me alone sometimes

Another trip to Felixstowe

We don't send birthday cards

My woods

He loves a stick

Not long to Christmas now let's hope we find a box of these under the tree
Doing our bit to add to the Christmas spirit

Bah humbug pose versus

The happy pose

Look what we got for Christmas

Customised blankets!

And we got to go to Felixstowe for a Christmas Day Dip

What a great day, rounded off with a mega dinner

Hello what's going on? It's not even 6am

We had to drop Sam off in Canary Wharf at 8am the day after Boxing Day and then...

We headed down to Cornwall for a weeks holiday, F**k me what a time to be alive

'Buzzards gotta eat, same as a worm'!
Nine hours later and we're in St Ives

Come on stop teasing, we've been in the car all day

Life is really a beach for us

Love it, my only complaint is that there is no open fire or log burner - oh well you can't have everything I suppose

Everyday that we were in Cornwall we went swimming

And playing on the beaches

Luther is a proper Bow-wow
Meanwhile down at the harbour

We were in St Ives for a week and didn't use the car once, we did use the train twice though

Our first trip was to Penzance, via St Erth, were we got on this mega train that had come from London

From there we walked along the coast to Mousehole

A different kind of beach here

Cor miserable bastards
High above the harbour, you can see St Michael's Mount in the background we walked there from Penzance in the spring

Every year they have Christmas lights around the harbour and above the village, you'll see these ones later
After a couple of hours kip on the pub floor we went back outside to see what all of the fuss was about

You can see the ones at the top of the hill where we walked to earlier

We got a bus back to Penzance and then the train to St Erth where we just missed our connection
Half an hour later and we're on our way
Love a bit of leftovers!

Back on Lifeguard duty

We made it into our second decade! To celebrate New Years Day me an' Luth did a Three Beach Challenge which involved a swim at Portmeor Beach
Porthgwidden Beach

And finally St Ives Harbour Beach

Not much of a challenge really - more of a treat, just a short walk between them

Hello another train ride

Just along the coast to Leland where we walked back to St Ives

It turned into another Three Beach Challenge for me an' Luth starting with Porth Kidney Beach

I love it there, it's about a mile long and dogs are allowed on it all year round

We hardly saw anyone there

See what I mean? no one about - paradise

Yeah I f**kin' love it
Next up was Carbis Bay Beach

And finally Porthminster Beach

All of a sudden the week had gone and it was time to head home, but not before one last swim

I'm a happy boy

We had an overnight stay in Devon, mainly so dad could go to football!

But there was time for a walk first

Can you believe it, there's a place called Dog Village!
We didn't really we went for a walk and then a kip in the car while dad went to the match which Ipswich lost! FFS
Back home and it's a blue Monday

That's about it for now, I'll catch up with you before the end of the winter I hope.
Lots of love
from Rudie THE Dog xx
