Not In My Backyard

Well it's been a while since my last blog so I thought I had better get off my lazy arse and get you all up to speed on what's been going on, although life has been pretty mundane lately. There's been plenty going on in my garden though.

What's going on here?
A new shed?
Perhaps it could be a new kennel?
Still not sure!

I give up
Aha It's a log store! Built from the remains of our old fence which was blown over in the winter storms
We've been busy splitting logs to fill it up

Dad's new toy - it's a bit lethal at times

It has it's rewards - you can't beat chewing on a freshly split piece of Beech tree

'Luther is a pain in the arse'

We like to keep an eye on what's going on

Life's a Beech for Luther - no bucket and spade just his Kong to play with
There's a few logs there buh!
Dad did get a break from logging and went to Germany for football. Me and Luth were the only ones he brought back a present! 'What the f**k is a Hundehalstuch?' I hear you say

It's a German dog bandana from Borussia Dortmund
Away from the garden and we found another pile of logs in my wood - I'll be having nightmares about them before long!

Haha I found a lovely puddle to lay in
That's Milsoms in the background and on the left is the 'Hangar'. I'll let you into a secret, Max and Steph are getting married there on October 18th 2019 - christ I'll be nearly seven by then! 👰🤵💍

Meanwhile back in the garden it's time to build a new deck where the tree came down and Luther is there for the ride

I think we'd make good building inspectors 🔍

as we're always on sight checking progress

and making sure everything is hunky dory

You know the drill

'Yep 'at's pretty level'

Someone's looking pleased

Nearly finished and just in time for the summer
So I can now add videos to my blog, I promise not to bore you with too many! 🎬🎬🎬🎬

I've had lot's of company in the garden but it's still good to have a change of scenery and I do l love  a swim

A stop off at The Mariners in Trimley on the way home 🍻

They get beer and we get water - It's just not fair buoy!

Back to work and 'we're' putting in the last of the screws

Yep we're going to love it on here!

All done 👍
And the lights work 💡
My woods are coming alive again

The next part of the garden project is to make it more 'Dog friendly' in other words try and stop me an' Luth f**kin' it up. One of my favourite dig zones is going to be dug up - 'Isn't it  ironic' as Alanis Morrisette would say!

New sleepers to stop us breaking the edge of the lawn. What lawn? we've just about ruined it! The grass is always greener on the otherside

Back in da wood

Rainy day blues

One last dig lol

It's an addiction!

I love my woods, have I ever told you?

The annual Bluebell photos

I'm going to leave it there for now, I've got a few more photos to show you and I'll tell you some exciting news next time!!

Lots of love from
