Hi Everyone
It's been a while since my holiday so I thought that I'd better have a quick catch up. Not that much has been going on to be honest, I must be getting boring as I get older? Although...
So do we wait for dad's whistle or the green light?
The first thing that I noticed after my holiday was that they decided to dig the road up outside of my woods. |
The final days of Luther being a prisoner in his own home! I thought I'd have one last look inside |
Grandma and Granddad came to stay for a few days in August, it was the first time that they had met Luther, so he had to be on his best behaviour! |
Also home for a couple of weeks was Sam. |
The big day arrived after they all went home, Luther was free to fly and we got new beds to mark the occasion! Only problem is now I can't get any peace and quiet, he often just comes and lays on my bed in the middle of the night. He also crept upstairs a couple of times - but he soon got a bollicking |
A rare outing to Martlesham Heath |
Not quite Cornwall but Felixstowe will do |
They had this thing called 'Pigs Gone Wild' in Ipswich during the summer, there were 39 painted pigs located all around the town and along with a map or an app you could visit each one. Dad thought that we could do a big walk and tick them all off (sad git!) Mum knew better, thankfully, the last thing I want to do is be kept on a lead for hours! |
We did however visit a couple of them, this one is called 'Porkman Road' and is outside the football ground |
And this one is 'Clover' All the pigs were auctioned off after the summer and the money raised went to The St Elizabeth Hospice |
Ha ha Luther's in trouble... |
He decided to chew the peg basket up. I tried to stop him, honestly! |
We went on another 'Darcy Dog Walk' at the start of September |
It was in and around Marlesford which is about eleven miles from home |
There's a small river called the Ore, underneath the bridge which we weren't allowed in - old misery guts kept us on our leads |
All of the fields have now been cut and harvested |
Tease us, why don't you? |
Ha ha ha, they forgot about the river on the way back! |
Which meant one thing |
Luther loves to find a stick - no matter what size |
Not my favourite 'DDW' a lot of lead work but we did manage to get a sneaky swim |
Also it was disappointing that we didn't get a breakfast |
Luther caught red pawed, chewing a trowel |
Another Saturday morning swim down at Felixstowe |
Luther - itching to go back in |
Why's she looking so pleased with herself? |
Why are we sitting on the coal bunker??? |
Mum and dad went to France at the end of September, so Max moved back in for a week to 'look' after us |
In fairness he didn't do too bad, that's all I'm going to say, after all us boy's have got to stick together! |
See you next time when I'll tell you all about my birthday, which is October 24th - put it in your diaries, no excuse not to buy me a pressie!!
Lot's of love from
Rudie THE Dog xx
