Busy Boys

I told you it wouldn't be long until my next blog, didn't I? Before I start I've got some breaking news and I'm really excited, I've just found out that me and Luther are going to Cornwall on holiday, I'm so f**king excited, I just can't wait, I'm like a cat on heat!
Now where did we get to?

Ah yes, I remember, dad was building our new fence, which he finally got finished
Luther helped move the materials around
We had a lay-down in the sun in-between supervising things

'No that's not quite level'

'Let me have a look'
We've been on yet another 'Darcy Dog Walk'
This time to Thorpeness, which is just along the coast from Aldeburgh

Look who wanted come with us, yep our new 'groupies'!

'F**k it, we'll go this way then!
Luther was very brave
Riding the waves
I left him to it

Another 'not welcome' sign, I see quite a lot of them on my travels

Thorpeness Golf Club, more warnings
Max & Steph spotted the bar
It looks like they've stuck a windmill on top of a bungalow
The house in the clouds - another strange building
Post walk refreshments at The Dolphin
Back home...
for a barbeque
We were knackered after all that excitement

So everything was going along nicely, until I found out that mum, dad and Max were all going to France for the Euros, which meant one thing...

the kennels for us!
Luther's seen a chicken, perhaps he had a KFC in mind?

That's where they ended up for the weekend, I hope they enjoyed themselves while we were locked up?
Back to freedom and a play fight over a stick on Martlesham Heath
The weekend after they returned from France it was Father's Day and we were featured on the front of his card

We went for a nice walk around Pin Mill, I'd like to think of it as a guilt trip after France. I know it was a bit muddy but those boots with shorts? Happy Father's Day!

Straight in the Orwell we go

Why is it called The Royal Harwich Yacht Club? We're nowhere near Harwich!

Luther's looking pleased about something

Mobile kebabs!
We had to cross their field and mum didn't trust us, so dad took us one at a time

Refreshments at the Butt & Oyster

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Luther has been digging up the lawn again, he looks very pleased with his work
He's also got a taste for sweeping up!

We had the European Referendum on June 23rd.

Boris johnson, who was a leading 'Leave' campaigner visited the pit at the bottom of my woods to drum up support
So how is everybody feeling about the result? I wasn't allowed to vote as it was pissing down with rain on the morning of the referendrum, but I already knew the outcome
Be honest, I bet that you thought I'd got it wrong when I told you the result on my video, a few days earlier didn't you? Personally I couldn't give a shit, you won't find me snubbing a German Shepherd or a French Poodle, as long as I get fed and walked it makes no difference to me!
Even Luther agreed with me - us Labs know!

Meanwhile we're still fence building!
Another nice walk
This time to Rendlesham Forest, near Woodbridge

We were kept on our leads at this part - I can't think why?

A pint of Adnam's Dry Hopped Lager for those two at The Cherry Tree on the way home

Flippin' heck - he's in trouble again!

Can you believe it? we've been sent to jail for the second time in a month
It's just not fair...
so they could go to Paris for... you guessed it, f**kin' football
It was prediction time before they went
I went for France
So did Luther, so that was that - I'm never wrong...
up until now! I can't believe it, France were the favourites, oh well back to the drawing board
Happy birthday Gran, it was her 80th birthday last week
Look who came to celebrate it with her, Auntie Rachel all the way from Florida. It's the first time that she'd been back to England for 26 years - or two Labrador's lifetimes!
Also back home is Sam, from Vietnam
He's staying with us and taking us out quite a bit
It's the first time that he'd met Luther, who was a little apprehensive about him at first, having heard that dogs are on the menu in Vietnam, I think he was worried that Sam might get peckish in the night!
Mum's baskets are looking nice, don't you think?
I've noticed a few people out and about, stopping in the street and looking down at their phones. Turns out they're playing this new 'Pokemon GO' game. I don't understand it myself
Turns out we've got them in our garden!
I got dad to catch them!!!
They're more annoying than Luther!

Talking of him, look what he caught in the garden!

Well that's it again, I'm off to pack and to explain to Luther what a holiday is all about. See you soon

Lots of love
Rudie The Dog xx
