Puppy Love?

At last the Spring is now with us, which means that the days are longer and warmer weather is on the way, mind you, I've had a few long days with Luther in the last couple of months! The winter in Suffolk was quite mild and we only had one little covering of snow, which didn't last. I've still to experience 'real' snow.
I've got to tell you that Luther really is a demanding little f**cker and at times he really gets on my nerves, he always wants to play and jump all over me. Is it too much to ask, to be left alone, have a kip or play on my own? I've even struggled to find the time to write my blog, he's been that demanding!

See what I mean, I can't even chill in front of the fire on my own
#demboyz - I must get dad to get me a smaller dog tag - I look a bit like Mr T from The A Team!

"I ain't getting on no plane"

Sorry, but there is a few pictures of Luther in this blog - I'll have to watch out or he'll be wanting to take over it soon

That ain't happening, by the way

Just a little prick! Luther went back to the vets for his second lot of jabs, which means that he'll soon be able to come out for walks with me. I've got mixed views on that though, at the moment it's the only 'me time' and attention that I'm getting

Don't push your luck mate! It was my first check-up at the new vets, he was quite nice really, he kept giving me treats. What is that saying? 'Don't except sweets from strangers'!

He ain't ever getting through that gap again

Ha ha ha

Luther's first proper Sunday roast - I have to share them now!

I can't even sunbathe in peace

Not so innocent now, are we?

I ain't taking the wrap for this one

How's this then? We get Luther, in January and he turns my whole world upside down, I'm just  about getting use to having him around and then I find out that he's gone back to Misty's, (our real mum), house in Alderton, all because mum and dad have pissed off on holiday, leaving me at home with Max - that's not ideal! The ironic thing is, now Luther is all jabbed up and allowed to go out for walks, he can't, he's got to wait until they get back.

It wasn't all bad for me though, I went out one day with Monty, Mat, Ruth and Doug

'Doug cam'

It wasn't long before they were back though. Luther was long overdue his first walk, so after we picked him up from Alderton, where, by all accounts, he had a great time, we took him to Aldeburgh.

F**k me he's turned Japanese!

It was was drizzling there and not very warm, I bet they felt it after coming back from Thailand or wherever they'd been

This is The Scallop, a four metre high steel structure designed by Maggi Hambling in honour of Benjamin Britten, a famous composer who lived in Aldeburgh. Apparently it splits opinion in the town, I'm oblivious to it, it was just something to cock my leg against
Christ, mums going for the Norfolk look!
Lost in a sea of stones

He looks bewildered with his new surroundings

I hardly went in the sea as it was a bit  rough, Luther got his feet wet though

"I hear those voices that will not be drowned"
And then I hear his!

I even have to share my leftover fish and chips with him, he is such a greedy little f**ker, he just hoovers food up

Ah, a tired little boy after his first walkies

So now it's time to take him to my woods

'Listen Luther, I'm the king of this jungle'

Follow me, I'll show you round

Max has finally moved out and is now living in Ipswich. We went to visit him the other Sunday and went to Christchurch Park on the way

He's learning!

He's got that look, like, 'It wasn't me'
Max sent this challenge to dad, here's his response

Luther's first swimming lesson at Felixstowe

No arm bands needed

Here he is getting a little extra encouragement

lol!

I think he enjoyed that!

Whoops

Now he's in deep shit - for chewing through the 'John Stalker' cable, (that's what we call our awning)
240 volts and he got away with it!
That's it for now, stay tuned for more adventures!

Love from Rudie THE dog. xx
