Brazil 2014 - My World Cup

At last the World Cup is over, I've had to put up with football on the tele almost everyday for the last month. I shouldn't moan really it was my first one and I had a little fun along the way.

Preparations are well under way at Toluca

Barbecues - I love em

Mum had some new garden furniture arrive just in time for the first match

Dad thought it was funny to put me in the box for a laugh - wanker
It didn't take me long to get out

That'll do me nicely for a siesta!
I think that I told you before that Max was collecting Panini World Cup stickers?

Well he nearly had the set so we had to go to the Easton White Horse (about 10 miles away) on a Wednesday night to a 'swap'

Mum came along as she never gets taken out for a midweek meal!
Do you think that the couple in the background are here to swap?

I ask you, grown men swapping stickers!
My new England football - Max said "Why did you buy him that? It won't last." Well it lasted longer than England did, in fact I've still got it.

The day of the England v Italy game. We had an Italian themed pre match party and a few of the Borussia boys came round, so we had a kick about with my new ball.

Come on England
I had a bit of post match anxiety and chewed the new decking lights
Not the most popular dog!

I was soon forgiven and my new England dog tag arrived just in time for the Uruguay game
I know what you're thinking. No I didn't nick any of them!
That was about it for the World Cup, it started out really good for us, but after we lost 2-1 to Uruguay the excitement petered out.
The best thing for me though is the discovery of the woods almost opposite us. We've renamed them 'Rudie's Wood' I go there nearly everyday now.

There's lots of trees blown down in there
Plenty for me to play on
Look at the size of that bastard

I even get to cool down in the roots!
The other good thing about 'Rudie's Wood' is that it leads to Milsoms, which is dead handy for a drink

Even Max is tempted to join us
Oops I'm in the shit again ...

... that Tomato plant was just too tempting
So that's us up to date again, I'm off to France on holiday so I'll tell you all about it when I get back
Au revoir à bientôt
